School Site Council Purpose

The primary purpose of a School Site Council (SSC) is to ensure educational needs are met and to oversee the development and implementation of a school's Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), including budgeting and program goals for all students. SSCs conduct needs assessments using student data, provide recommendations for school programs and funding, and review the SPSA's effectiveness to support student success.
